Within the activities of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division and in cooperation with the Raban Al Safina Group of Companies, registration was opened and the names of more than 17 experienced university post graduates from the departments of electricity, control and systems, computer were sent to meet them and hire them in one of the projects of the Raban Al Safina group of companies in the cities of Samawah and Nasiriyah. Post graduates are interviewed and selected by the company.

The Starting of the post graduate Qualification Program for Employment in the Private Sector - GEP

Within the activities of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division and in cooperation with the Knowledge Gate Foundation in Baghdad, the registration for opportunities to participate in qualifying post graduates for employment in the private sector - GEP has been concluded. The program trains university students and recent post graduates and prepares them functionally to work in Iraqi private sector companies.

The program started in 2019 in its first version, which it trained more than 120 trainees in its training units. The program begins by introducing the trainees to the private sector and the method of work in it, writing official correspondence, applying for jobs, writing a CV and job interviews within a week of work, moving to the second level to introduce them closely to each job within the administrative structure of companies and institutions so that they have the opportunity to know what they would like to work in. After the trainees build their general experience about the private sector and job opportunities in it at the first and second levels, the third level takes them to specialize in one of those jobs and then connects them with solid companies for an interview.

Ending the provision and distribution of more than 5,000 fully subsidized discount tickets for e-learning to post graduates, affiliates and students of the University of Technology within the global EDX platform for open learning

Within the activities of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division and within the framework of deepening the horizons of cooperation between the University of Technology in Baghdad and the reputable international universities and institutions in the service of the academic community in Iraq and the world.

During the first phase of the cooperation agreement between the University of Technology and the global platform (EDX) for open education, 4786 support/discount tickets were provided and distributed entirely within the global digital platform EDX for students, affiliates, teachers and graduates of the University of Technology.

The cooperation initiative signed between the University of Technology in Baghdad and the global EDX platform aims to provide the opportunity for distance learning and entry into courses offered by major universities and international organizations affiliated with the aforementioned platform.

Through this initiative, participants in the courses obtain official certificates issued by these authorities upon successfully completing the requirements for passing the courses, with a 100% discount on registration and subscription fees for more than 500 courses/courses provided by universities and international companies through this platform.

  The end of the registration of more than 226 post graduates within the Global Coursera platform - the 1^st

Within the activities of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division, on 01/30/2021, and the cooperation agreement signed with the Coursera Global platform, and based on the post graduates follow-up form database.

The registration of more than 226 graduates has been concluded within the global coursera platform - the first stage, which provided and provides more than 4,000 professional courses in all scientific disciplines from major international universities.

The participating graduates have completed the courses sequentially and continuously, with a large number of them obtaining specialized certificates from major universities and international companies.

It should be noted that registration for this initiative to benefit from it is continuous and is done directly through the use of the university’s official mail for students, faculty and associates, and through the following registration form for graduates:
